HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

wishing all teachers a happy teacher's day!
despite the fact that all lessons was as per normal today,
the excitement was long lasting

the celebration was really nice,
i liked it that i smiled throughout
i laughed so much that my jaw hurts
and i realised how loud i was laughing

i liked haziq's teacher's day dedication video
ms lam imbibed all PRCS values, Real Neat!
AHAH, you should have included the zoo-keeper part
Anyway, it made me recall the times in sec 2
i missed those days. for sure, i couldn't resist smiling :)

anyway, for this year,
apparently, there wasnt any primary school outing
my elder sister went back to her sec school
my younger sister went back to her primary school
i feel so bored, and went white sands with curry, wani and flo
one reason was i had to top up my concession pass
and for another, i did an unreasonable shopping today

i walked into Aries with wani,
and she was like saying everything i touched belonged to the
NERD community
one question, what is wrong with you?!?
and i managed to buy a black hair scrunchie
really nice and feminine i guess?
then met curry and flo near kopitiam
and my oh-so-best friend, curry just had to question me
"Did you just spend money on something that's cute?"

okay fine, i admit. i have a fetish for all these kind of things
but i do have limits. perhaps the item should be less than $2?
sheesh curry.

oh ya, and you know when nazri and zhafran performed today......
no doubt, there were screaming girls, and peels of laughter everywhere
i mean, what would you expect?

It's the first day of Ramadhan!
Not too bad.
i missed bubble tea, bandito pockett and more nonsense

anyway, i went to shop for STATIONARIES today
thus, i have finally used up all my Popular vouchers
the ones i got during speech day
WAHAHA~
and i can't wait to label them
i just love personalised stuff!

but first, one thing has been bugging me.
by emaths and amaths homework
the workload i have to handle right now is !@#$%
i'd say, this is craziness.

Ms Kaur: Boys, 1 more time i hear that name, you will win yourself a punishment, of 5 letter of commendation essays!

my speech;

A very good afternoon to Doctor Ong, teachers, fellow Crestians and also parents who are here with us today. My name is Nurul Ain, a representative of the PRCS welfare committee 2009’. It is my privilege to deliver this speech so as to put forward suggestions that will benefit the needy.

So many of us are strapped for cash these days, especially due to tough economic times. Sometimes, we wonder, what will happen to the poor? We wonder, are they in good hands then? My response to those questions is, yes, they will be affected and the only way to lighten their burden would be to lend a helping hand. Therefore, if you would like to lend a hand, here are some ways to help needy Crestians. These apply to anyone, regardless if you are rich or poor, old or young or where you live.

Firstly, if you meet someone, do greet him with sincerity. Say “Hello!” to anyone you pass by and do so with a sincere smile along with the greeting. You would be surprised how the faces of so many people light up just from this kind of act. They will be able to feel the warmth and care that you intend to spread.

Secondly, we feel that it would be good to hold a donation drive along with a “Jumble Sale” annually. It doesn’t matter how old it seems or how useless it may be, Crestians can donate their unwanted junk like clothes, storybooks or toys that will be put on sale during the funfair. The proceeds shall be given to the school to help the needy in terms of financial assistance.

Thirdly, if you know a tried and true trick in overcoming difficulties which you have experienced, don’t hesitate to help those in need. Share you thoughts and knowledge with those who are seen struggling with such issues. Just do so in a helpful manner. I am very sure that he or she will be very thankful for your efforts.

Sometimes, we must create opportunities for ourselves to be a help to someone, no matter how small it may be. We can advise and treat them sincerely, or help them in such a way that it would be beneficial to them like having donation drives. As long as we keep our eyes and heart open, we can help to save the minority. Like how the late Michael Jackson would’ve said, “Heal the world, make it a better place. For you and for me, and the entire human race.”

Therefore, I hope you have given it some thought and be convinced that such methods will meet the needs of the needy student population. Thank you for your attention.

even though the national day celebration didn't end as we expected it to be,
the highlight of the day would be
none other than Crestians Got Talent.
im still hyperventilating
probably because the voice of the winning team got stuck in my head.
you see, it left an impact
a really heartwarming one at that
WAHA!

the celebration could have been made much, much better.
there was only two national day songs that was played

1. no get together 29126 time
2. not much singing, not much running around the hall like no one's business(though i think the sec 4/5s started the running around too early. at that time, crestians weren't hyped up yet!)
3. boring!

you know, instead of ending at 10.30, i dont mind being held up by such events
i figured that the 10 year anniversary related videos are really time consuming


Anyway, the BIG finish;



later today at 3pm;
i met up with curry, illiany and hafizah for a movie
initially, we planned on watching harry potter
but i came late, and the queue was long and by then, it was fully booked
and curry was excited when she saw zafran there too
we ended up watching G.I. JOE; The Rise Of The Cobra


i loved movies starring Channing Tatum
