HONGKONG

HONG KONG!
it would take me forever if i were to tell you the whole story, and you know how long-winded i can get. HAH! so the whole time, we were taking pictures and visiting those tourists attractions. namely, the victoria peak, madame tussauds, hong kong disneyland and most of the time shopping. i must say, shopping there was splendid! we went to the ladies' market once, and simply walked around kowloon area where we stayed. they also have shopping outlets like bossini and esprit where there's sale due to the arrival of the christmas season. about food, there are quite a number of muslim restaurants. they are obviously making money when you are there. you might be surprised at how expensive it can get.

and so, the first day, we didn't do much except exploring the city of kowloon. just to familiarise with the place. we had to ride an MTR from the airport.
the lightings are damn superb. i think i'd prefer this than the christmas lightings at orchard road.
second day, we went to the avenue of the stars...
and the VICTORIA PEAK!
we also went to madame tussauds, and i met those famous people like angelina jolie, and ayumi hamasaki! its a so called museum which had statues of these stars being carefully carved and it looks as if it was real. i also met mr lee kuan yew and some other lagendary people. credits to ahmad for this picture. i liked it!
we purposely waited till sunset to go up there. the peak, i mean. just so that it looks perfect with the sunset setting. LoL! its pretty..
PICTURESQUE!
third day, we're off to disneyland!

ahmad had fun, of course! with almost everything. he made us ride the buzz lightyear ride which involves some shooting game, 4 times. and as we snapped this picture of his, he was struggling with the buzz lightyear position. besides that, he also took pictures with goofy and pluto! we only enjoyed the space mountain ride! for a five-year old, though it was scary, he had the guts to ride it..

you won't be able to see this anywhere in singapore!

the last 2 days, went shopping and more shopping. went to shen zhen, china, and also the ladies' market where i got to witness some bargaining scenes. my mum, who speaks a little bit of cantonese without my knowledge, does all the talking while i stood helplessly beside her, watching the salesperson. i felt awfully terrible when she does that, knowing that they would be the ones losing in the end.

and this picture was taken on the last day. credits to hazirah.

notice that the daisies are yellow and orange. such a rare colour!

and also, notice that we went with 2 luggage bags and went home with 4! nice! that is one exciting holiday i'd call it! it's a wrap! and thats all about it..
