yeah, we were using the surgical knife alright. the one used in surgeries, the one which will pierce through your skin without fail. yes, thats sharp! of course we had our gloves on.

finally, it was the first time i laid my eyes on the heart. the same heart you and i have. it was fun~ i loved taking out the blood clot in the heart. oh well, im wierd! but before that, we had to put our finger through the aorta to feel how thick the muscle on the left side of the heart is. fascinating much? mr yeo also showed us the valves. the right side of our heart had tricuspid valves-which means it has 3 valves. meanwhile, on the left there is the bicuspid valve- which means it has 2. (*valves- it is a parachute-like flap used to control the flow of blood entering/leaving the heart)

have you ever wondered why your heart is always slanted and not perpendicular to the ground? its because the left side of the heart is thicker-heavier than the left due to the thick muscles. this is also due to the pressure that it has to withstand during the circulation of the blood within the heart. okay, dont always believe what was stated by a sec 2. so far, this is all i have learnt. just having the thought of sharing! ahas XD but seriously, this is all beyond your imagination..

i think this is all that happened today. so glad that today ended pretty well! im just having second thoughts on whether i should watch "bangku kosong" tonight, which Natasha had long urged me to catch it. if i were to watch it, you better hold on to your handphone so that i can CALL you and not watch this ALONE! awh!
